Exam and results dates are official NEBOSH dates. Seats are limited per batch — message us on WhatsApp to reserve your place.
- Unit GIC1 is a scenario-based, open-book examination. You have a 24-hour window to complete and submit it online via the NEBOSH Exam Portal — around 5 hours of active work is typical. After submission, some learners are invited to a short closing interview to confirm understanding. It’s a conversation, not an extra exam.
- Unit GIC2 is a practical risk assessment carried out in your own workplace (or another suitable work environment). Under the 2026 specification it is marked out of 100 using a transparent points-based system — and you receive a detailed mark breakdown, so you know exactly how you scored on hazard identification, risk evaluation, and control measures. You submit it yourself via the NEBOSH online platform within 10 working days of your GIC1 examination date.
Pass marks: GIC1 — 45 out of 100. GIC2 — 60 out of 100. Your overall qualification grade (Pass, Credit, or Distinction) is based on your GIC1 score. Results for both units are released together within 60 working days of your assessment date.
Exam sittings: English examinations are available monthly throughout the year. Arabic examinations are available at NEBOSH’s multi-language sittings — the remaining Arabic dates for 2026 are 9 September and 2 December (see the batch calendar above).
